Compassion Focused Education:  An invitation to engage in compassionate non-conformity and resistance.

Given ongoing concerns about the mental health of our children and young people and in recognition of the emotional work of teachers, which is completely neglected in the current policy context, this seminar aims to explore the importance of compassion to support wellbeing in school communities. As part of this seminar Jon will introduce a conceptualisation of Compassion Focused Education, which locates compassion at the core of every educational experience.
